Questions You May Have For Us

Best practice is submission of the draw request and supporting documentation to FSBBconstruction@ourbank.com. Attaching as portable document format (PDF) is best. Paper copies of the draw request can also be dropped off at any First Security Bank location as well but could result in the processing time to fall outside of our stated goal of 2-3 business days.
• A comprehensive construction draw request form
• Invoices supporting each expense listed on the draw request form
• Lien waivers for all expenses over $500 from the previous draw
• Approval from the borrower
You can contact any of the members from the construction team or go to ourbank.com and navigate to ourbank.com/business/construction-department.
A member from the construction department will send the borrower an email explaining the draw has been processed and where construction funds have been disbursed. Draw proceeds from the construction loan will be deposited into a construction checking account in the name of the borrower. It is the bank’s expectation of the borrower to forward the proceeds to the contractor, and the bank’s expectation of the contractor to pay all sub contractors and material providers listed on the draw request. Alternative disbursement of the funds may be performed by the bank such as transferring the proceeds directly to the contractor’s checking account or preparing a cashier’s check. However, the desired disbursal method must be communicated and approved by the borrower and bank before draws have been submitted.
Submitted expenses from at least one line item from your original budget have been exceeded. In order to keep the remaining amount of loan funds equal to expected budget costs, you are being asked to make up the difference with a cash injection.
